RC-23 Holiday Trip to New York City-December 13th 2018

Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art with a possible guided tour. Enjoy the seasonal decorations and shopping. While you are there, don’t miss the Neapolitan Christmas Tree!

Enjoy a sumptuous buffet luncheon including wine, beer and soda at Pasta Lovers, 142 West 49th Street. 

 

Onto Rockefeller Center to visit the Christmas Tree and the Sound and Light Show at Saks 5th Avenue. While you are there take some time to visit the iconic Saint Patrick’s Cathedral and do some holiday shopping.

NYSUT Phone banks for retirees will continue to be held every Tuesday up to and including Election Day. On May 18, 2018 the Long Island Chapter of NYSARA held its Spring Conference at the NYSUT Office in Hauppauge. Chapter President, Stan Bergman opened the meeting with a welcome to an audience of members of the many union locals from Long Island.  He then introduced seven potential candidates for the New York Primary hoping to unseat Congressman Lee Zeldin from NY’s 1st Congressional District and Congressman Peter King from NY’s 2nd Congressional District.
